Even after getting vehicles after a long time, many people paid extra fares to reach their destinations.

The Patenga office of the Meteorological Department in Chittagong said that 57.8 millimeters of rain has been recorded in Chittagong in the last 24 hours (from 9 am yesterday Wednesday to 9 am today Thursday). As the monsoon is active, there may be another two to three days of rain. Due to very heavy rains, there is a risk of landslides and landslides in Chittagong. Meanwhile, due to continuous heavy rains, water has accumulated in the Agrabad commercial area of Chittagong city, Katalganj, Ispahani C-Gate area of Zakir Hossain Road. People have to cross the accumulated water.
